The Brief

NOS Cinemas wanted a summer campaign that communicated joy and family togetherness, designed to work across both print and social media.

Concept

I built a visual language around vibrant color and a nostalgic typeface, evoking the feeling of "summer holidays" tied to going to the movies as a family. The goal was something emotionally warm but simple enough to read instantly.

Process

Explored palettes and compositions that balanced visual energy with legibility across formats (vertical digital, square posts, print).

Tested the typography at different scales, designing first for mobile reduction and then for print enlargement.

Built a modular asset system (same identity, different crops and formats) to speed up production of variations without breaking brand coherence.

Outcome

The campaign drove a 15% increase in seasonal engagement, validating the bet on a nostalgic and vibrant visual language.
